Open studio is designed for people with glass experience and a desire to take things further without investing $2,000 in a kiln. You bring your own 90 COE glass and use my molds, frit, powders, stringers and the kiln, of course. Also provided are glass cutting tools, thin fire paper GlasTac glue, spray alcohol and paper towel.
I will be there to help guide and instruct where needed but mostly, this is an independent workshop to create whatever your heart desires. You will be allowed to fill up to one-half of the kiln shelf and your things will be ready for you the following week.
90 COE Glass can be purchased at J Ring Glass in St Paul or Glass Endeavors in South Minneapolis.
