Glass Fusing Fun – Connie Beckers, Instructor
Ongoing Wednesdays (7-10pm) & Saturdays (10-1pm or 3-6pm), this is the one that started it all and is the one beginners and folks with a Groupon will sign-up for. No glass experience required, this workshop is designed to offer a very basic introduction into glass fusing. You will start with pre-cut “blank” pieces of fusible glass and have up to three hours to create your choice of plates, coasters, soap dishes or trinkets using colorful shapes from my scrap bins. You’ll get a little glass cutting and nipping instruction to form your shapes but you will not be operating the kilns. This class is suitable for children age 8 and up accompanied by a paid adult.
