The Goddess of Glass offers classes in the fine art of Tiffany-style stained glass and fused glass.

Stained glass classes are offered for beginners through advance panel making and design. Beginners leave a four week class with two completed suncatchers and minimal investment. If they like the class and want to further develop their skills, a personal tool kit is offered along with additional classes and workshops like lampshades and trinket boxes.

Fused glass classes are less technical and offer more project oriented workshops. Glass is pre-cut and all materials and supplies are provided. Projects are generally ready for pick-up in two weeks. The kiln is a very expensive addition to most hobbyists so The Goddess offers opportunities to come back for open studio and kiln firings at a nominal fee.

Classes are held at The Funky Bungalow, 3243 Girard Avenue North, Minneapolis, MN. The first floor of the home was retrofitted to offer a comfortable, well lit and inspiring setting for creativity. There is a full kitchen to accommodate private parties and a sitting room painted in a Maxfield Parrish landscape. The Goddess works in the basement studio where the kiln is also kept.

Pre-registration is required for all classes by clicking on the Book a Class link. This link also provides a calendarized listing of all available dates and times.

Fused glass classes make a great kids birthday party for ages 8 and up and can be tailored to fit individual interests and budgets. The Goddess has also offers Girls’ Night Out, and birthday and bridal parties where everyone creates something special for the guest of honor as well as things to take home.
