Glass Fusing Fun – Connie Beckers, Instructor
Ongoing Thursdays (7-10pm) & Saturdays (10-1pm or 3-6pm), this is the one that started it all and is the one beginners and folks with a Groupon will sign-up for. No glass experience required, this workshop is designed to offer a very basic introduction into glass fusing. You will start with pre-cut “blank” pieces of fusible glass and have up to three hours to create your choice of plates, coasters, soap dishes or trinkets using colorful shapes from my scrap bins to complete your designs. You’ll get a little glass cutting and nipping instruction to form your shapes and learn all about the kilns and what it takes to become The Goddess of Glass. This class is suitable for children age 8 and up accompanied by a paid adult.

Wed, 9/21/16, 5-9pm
Experienced glassers are invited for fusing and stained glass open studio time. $20 studio fee plus per project costs on many of the same projects you created in your Glass Fusing Fun class. Open Studio is available most Wednesdays and Fridays by reservation. Please send an email to or text 612-327-0283 to reserve your space. Payment is taken at class.

Wed, 9/28, 7-9pm – $25
I scored a dozen of these white ikea lanterns on our garage sale page and am offering up a workshop in applying stained glass to the tiny glass portion and using glitter glue as grout. It’s a technique I heard about through a former artisan vendor at the shoppe and thought would make a fun workshop! Click on the link above for more details. Pre-registration is required.

Wed, 10/5 & 10/12
I’m running this session through Henry Community Ed. Details and registration are available through their website. They charge a $34 registration fee and I collect $60 for supplies at the first class. Space is limited. Students will create a small suncatcher in these two weeks and be offered a second session of three weeks to complete a more advanced project.

PRIVATE GLASS FUSING PARTIES are a great deal with a rate of $45 per person with or without a special occasion to celebrate. The minimum is 6 and the maximum is 14 PLUS and the hostess gets in free with 8 paid guests. I am available most weekdays and evenings, Sundays and some Saturdays for these. Phone 612-327-0283 or email

I’m running a special on glass fusing classes now thru 9/30/16! Glass fusing fun is three hours of creating a variety of unique projects which are fire and ready to pick up in a couple of weeks. There are 12-14 people per class and all materials and supplies are included with a couple of optional extras available. Class is normally $79 per person, Groupon sells them for $39 and I’m offering another 20% off for a limited time! They’re good for a year from the date of purchase and I offer preferred booking to those who buy directly from me. I often have room to squeeze one or two more even if the class is marked FULL. Send an email to check availability.
